ESD Tapes are also called as Clear ESD Cellulose Tapes, or ESD Printed Tape. These are made of a 2 mm clear cellulose acetate material with a rubber based adhesive.
Printed with an ESD symbol, these tapes sport a bold "Anti Static" print.
With a tensile strength of 90 N/25mm, these tapes are available in 3" core, with 108 feet in length. Withstanding temperature range is between 32°-150°F. These meet Static Decay Specifications of MIL-B-81705 with a charge decay of <.014 second.

Clear ESD Tapes - RoHS Compliant:
These are another category of Clear ESD Tapes also known as ESD Cellulose Tapes, finding similar applications as the ESD tapes. While the thickness, temperature range and length are same as clear ESD tapes, the Clear ESD tapes demonstrate a tensile strength of 24lbs/inch, meeting specification CID-AA-113B, Type 1, Class A and ANSI ESD S20.20 standards.
Some of the primary uses are in electrical applications such as coil insulation, capacitor and transformer wrapping or insulation, magnetic wire insulation, and in gold leaf masking during wave soldering. It is also used as a very high temperature mask during powder coating applications. Polyimide tape is also used in the auto industry for wrapping switches, diaphragms, sensors and coils in seat heaters.
